Cosmetics in Singapore is funded by the Health Science Authority of Singapore (HSA). To regulate. The HSA is responsible for overseeing and managing the filing and regulation of medical products, drugs, food and cosmetics. Its primary responsibility is to ensure the safety, quality and effectiveness of medical products, medicines, food and cosmetics sold and used in the Singapore market.

3. The new definition of cosmetics
Under the Singapore HSA regulations, a cosmetic product is any substance or preparation intended to come into contact with external parts of the human body, such as skin, hair, nails, lips or mouth (including gums, teeth and tongue), for the purpose of: cleaning, aromatherapy, altering appearance, removing odour, protecting and maintaining good condition.
Cosmetics do not include:
①Injections and eye drops
②Oral products, such as pills, capsules or drinks
③Products used for treatment, such as acne treatment creams
4. Entry requirement
Singapore Cosmetics currently follows the principle of voluntary filing. If the manufacturer wishes to file its cosmetics products in Singapore, the manufacturer must appoint a local representative in Singapore as the filing person to file the cosmetics filing application with the HSA.

A:If the manufacturer wishes to keep the Notification valid, it will need to be renewed in advance.
